On the north side of the street, there is some construction that diverts pedestrians away from the curb and street behind some makeshift lumber walls.
One morning while walking through the detour on my way to the office, I saw a FedEx delivery man charging up with a joint to get ready for his day. That explains where my swimsuit from Neiman Marcus went—up in smoke.
That reminds me of their slogan from 2004-2008, "Relax, it's FedEx,"
He was taking the "relax" to a new level.
